‘Bipartisan Response’ required in Alice Springs: Peter Dutton

Opposition chief Peter Dutton says the scenario in Alice Springs won’t be “solved in a single day” and wishes a “bipartisan response” to mobilize extra assets.

“This is a matter that stretches over a protracted time period; It won’t be resolved in a single day and it requires a bipartisan response,” Mr Dutton mentioned throughout a information convention on Thursday.

“I’ve met privately with the Prime Minister; I’ve not made it public, I’ve requested him for extra assets… the Prime Minister has dominated out sending the Australian Federal Police to complement the work of the Northern Territory Police Pressure.”
