NRL 2022: Matty Johns reveals Parramatta Eels star Dylan Brown’s noble act for charity

Matty Johns has revealed Parramatta star Dylan Brown’s posh performance after the five-eight took some convincing to appear on his TV show.

Dylan Brown is a class.

The five-eighths of the Parramatta Eels appeared on the Fox League panel show sunday night with matty johns when the presenter himself raised the curtain on what is happening in the world of television.

NRL players are invited to come on the show for a small payment, and Matty Johns revealed that Brown donated his entire fee to charity.

“Well, I don’t want to embarrass you (Brown), but when people come here — you wouldn’t believe it — they get a free gig,” Johns said.

“Player manager, it’s not much, but you get an appearance fee, and Dylan donates the entire fee to the Ronald McDonald House. Nice job, well done, mate.”

The panel of Johns, Nathan Hindmarsh and Bryan Fletcher, as well as the live studio audience, gave Brown a round of applause.

It was later revealed that Brown agreed he would only get on the show if Fox League doubled his payment and donated everything to Ronald McDonald House – a charity the Eels have long been associated with.

On the field, Parramatta defeated the Wests Tigers 28-20 in a tough battle near Leichardt on Saturday.

The NRL’s split-bye rounds are complete after round 18 and the Eels will next face the New Zealand Warriors on Friday night.

The Eels are currently sixth in the standings, just one win outside of the top 4.
