Crash in China: Images present a pile-up of 200 automobiles

One individual died in a pile-up on a freeway in central China involving a whole lot of automobiles, state broadcaster CCTV reported Wednesday. Footage of the accident confirmed chaotic scenes.

Aerial photographs confirmed a whole lot of vehicles, vans and vehicles – a lot of which had crashed into one another – piled up on a stretch of freeway in thick fog.

Different viral movies posted on-line confirmed the mangled stays of a number of automobiles that had crashed into others.

The accident occurred resulting from poor visibility brought on by fog close to town of Zhengzhou in Henan province and affected a minimum of 200 automobiles, state media reported.

“On Wednesday morning, a sudden formation of fog occurred on the Zhengxin Yellow River Bridge in Zhengzhou, inflicting a visitors accident wherein a number of automobiles collided,” CCTV quoted Zhengzhou authorities as saying, including that one individual died consequently.

Emergency rescue efforts had been carried out shortly after the accident, the CCTV report mentioned.

Highway accidents are commonplace in China as a result of lack of strict safety controls. In September, 27 passengers died after a bus taking them to quarantine services in southwestern Guizhou province overturned on a freeway.
