Weekly preliminary jobless claims rise to 225,000

The DOL studies:

Within the week ending December 24, the advance fee for seasonally adjusted preliminary claims had been 225,000, up 9,000 from final week’s unrevised stage of 216,000. The 4-week transferring common was 221k, down 250 from the earlier week’s revised common. The earlier week’s common has been revised down 500 from 221,750 to 221,250.
